Comfort Homesake is a California-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing an informed and compassionate pathway for families to recieve direct patient care. Our services extend to address the unique realities of end-of-life care.

Executive Director, Marilyn Ababio developed a strong commitment and passion for hospice and in-home care more than ten years ago, when she experienced the prolonged illness and eventual passing of a close family member. That commitment blossomed into Comfort Homesake as a compassionate pathway for families to address the unique realities of end-of-life care.

I looked at my child the moment he learned he had cancer. I heard his fear of death rise in his question, “Am I going to die – Mom?” “We are all going to die,” is the only truth I had to give…May he rest in peace.
